Project Overview
This was a student project. The assignment was to create a custom typeface inspired by any city. Personally, this work was inspired by the city of Cambridge. What I particularly liked was its aesthetic appeal and authenticity—it’s such a significant place in the world of science
Technologies Used
Adobe Illustrator was used for the majority of the work, and Photoshop was used specifically for editing the mockups.
Project Workflow
The project took 2–4 weeks to complete. Even though it took so long to complete this one project, I worked on it with interest and enthusiasm the entire time, despite the lengthy timeline. The lion's share of the time went into creating the font from scratch, crafting each letter several times to find the best and most legible form. As a result, I received the highest score.
